Welcome,
I live abroad. Last March I had a thrombosis of my left leg after a knee injury and being in quarantine at home. In hospital I was given the oral drug eliquiz, a blood thinner. Unfortunately, not all of the clot has dissolved, there is a piece left in the main vein in my thigh that is blocking the flow of blood. Is it possible to surgically remove this residual clot at your clinic or is there a procedure that can unblock the vein?

Hi, it is possible to perform a stent implantation into the vein - to widen its lumen, in order to assess the indications and possibility of performing the procedure I suggest you contact a surgical radiologist Dr Rafał Maciąg Warsaw
