This variation of sclerotherapy uses the innovative Flebogrif system. The procedure consists of inserting a thin catheter into the insufficient vein. Its function is to narrow the lumen of the closed inefficient vein by mechanically damaging its walls - which increases the effectiveness of sclerotherapy. A foamy drug is administered through the catheter to close the lumen of the vessel. The procedure itself is short and painless. It lasts approximately 30 minutes. Anaesthesia is only required - at the site of insertion of the kit into the vein. After the procedure, a compression stocking is applied.
Benefits:
- High effectiveness of the treatment compared to classic sclerotherapy -Provides a quick return to activity.
- The procedure itself poses no risk of complications.
- Excellent value for money.
- The procedure is short and painless - local anaesthesia is used.
